This is my first painterly offering with a knife and brush since mid December.
I've been really keen to get started on some paintings but find it jolly hard in the cold Winter months. However yesterday I bullied myself into it and 'alla prima'....this is it!
It's really cold out of doors , though very snug in my studio. I was dreaming of warmer months and decided to start this years paintings with some warmth and optimism.
Acrylic on canvas 40x40 cm
with associated mediums of graphite, John Innes No3 some turkey and and a partridge in a pear tree.
