Seaside Special

This is a rare occurrence.

Usually after toiling with a large painting I'm often knackered out. It's a strangely physical and mentally exhausting process.
Now then, I knowwww that sounds a bit dramatic...but 'it is' the case. Especially when things don't seem to be going quite right. However just now and again the sublime happens and it just all comes together and you've accomplished the task in one hit...no returning to the painting and re-painting and tweaking this, scraping that, looking at it in a mirror or upside down or putting your foot through the canvas...which lets face it doesn't add to the effect. We've all been there.
However this piece I'm completely satisfied with....I've truly got the moment and feel (well it suits me..)
So, here it is, plonked roughshod in a frame awaiting to be buffed up, fixed and completed.

Acrylic, marshmallows, egg white, chunky kitkat, sand, trill pva, graphite, brush and knife on canvas.
90cm sq plus timber frame.
