Blimey another year gone but a real bright one ahead! Can't wait for the longer, lighter evenings.
I've been very busy recently and there's plenty going on in the studio for a spring showing orf.
During he past few weeks I've been walking by water again... There's not really a great deal of it in deepest Northamptonshire, though we do have one or two little places of loveliness. Pictured above (fresh off the easel) is one such place, Pitsford reservoir. We're currently enduring a drought. which is most unseasonal for December. The water line has dramatically changed the perspective of the landscape and it seems rather distant. There's also a beautiful green algae hue draped over the shoreline. There's still plenty of wildlife of course and huge skies to enjoy. I do sense this may well be the start of my first project of the year.
