New ground... and very good company.

This weekend starts the new showing season for me
and there are two events I'm delighted to be involved with and both are supporting worthy charities.

I've recently been invited to jump on board with an exciting new venture which forms The British Art Portfolio. My new work has been selected to sit alongside some wonderful established artists from around the country. I'm part of the contemporary arm of a show that is generally displaying '20 Century British Paintings and sculpture.'  I do sense that I'm in extremely good creative company indeed. The 'BAP' is an exclusive 'pop up gallery' with a twist and exhibit in superb locations throughout the UK...   A static version of BAP will soon be on display at The new Guilsborough Gallery.... watch this space for more news.

This Selling show takes place on:

12-15th March 2012
11am- 6pm

24 Macaulay Road
Clapham
London
SW4 0QX
enquiries@bristishartportfolio.co.uk

This event is supporting The Starlight Children's Foundation

And...

Also, I'm very chuffed to have been invited to take part in another event in Oxfordshire.
Although an exhibition at a school,  once again the participating artists are a cut above the usual... so something rather special for a school charity bash indeedy..

The event takes place on :
Saturday 10th and Sunday 11h March 2012
10.30 am - 4.30pm

Sibford Gower Primary School,
Acre Ditch
Sibford Gower
Banbury
OX15 5RW

This event is supporting Sibford Gower School and The Katharine House Hospice.

I'm sure the art for sale will be to your liking, however there is the added bonus of the surrounding countryside.. It's utterly, utterly beautiful. 'Your peepers will fall out of their sockets...' And I dare say there's a few nice places to quaff and scoff along the way too!!

So, if you are so inclined...please do pop along.

The painting illustrated above will be on display in London.
