'One' is in need of some sea.
And this painting is inspired by the brilliant Joan Eardly.

I closed my eyes and imagined where I'd like to be, what I wanted to hear and how it made me feel. If you concentrate hard enough one can get in the zone and in time the brain bone gets connected to the arm bone, the arm bone gets connected to finger bones the finger bones get to a large brush bone and, well, 'here it is!'

Living in the middle of the Midlands I don't have much coastal erosion or crashing waves or the sound of gulls to distract me.. Thankfully,  I've a memory and an imagination and 'It'll do for now!'
