It's that time of year. Open studios 2013 is upon us and it feels like term time starting for me.... I love it.
Strangely this morning I felt something was missing and I realised I don't get the chatty calls of enquiry, help, reassurance and 'Chris can you take this here and drop it off there.. and what colour shall I paint this frame and when shall we get together for a cuppa and have you got any biscuits in?'
So in remembrance I've just painted this chap in blue. I do miss him. And reassuringly he feels a bit closer now.
'And no I don't have any biscuits in!'
