I'm currently busy painting for my solo exhibition at Bircham Gallery in Holt. By choice I always paint from my sketches drafted on site when I can. Drawing in a sketch book makes you stop, consider and analyse what you are looking at. It gives one a chance to relax and slow down for a while. You find the occasional gem too...
