One trick pony?

As I sit at my drawing table... I considered, 'Whats inspiring you Chris? What's going on?

Well Chris, said TheartistinformallyknownasProut all sorts really, I mean, I've done great deal of painting this past year and I'm about to embark on another major project... although I'm thinking of other things too... watercolours, portraits, some illustration work also. I've even been drawing some straight lines with a ruler and everything... it's kinda hard to explain... It's all good stuff and my solo show is a hoot. I'm a very happy boy!

My studio chair creaked as I turned to my right... and stuck on the studio wall with blu tack, tape and paper I saw it 'in glorious technicolour 'the contents of my head!'

But isn't this as it should be? I get quite sceptical about artists who produce an interesting idea but then do the same thing over and over and over again.

Well... this normal for me. I simply cannot knock out the same ol stuff day after day... One has to mutate, 'It's only natural' Otherwise one gets and often witnesses creative OCD.

Portraits?.. ok... That sounds like a challenge!

Do dog ones count too?

How about portraits of the people behind the scenes at Prout world.

I'm thinking you may have a copy of Tai-Shan Schierenburg by William Packer?

No dogs! Before you know it you'll be apologising to all your neighbours that you don't want to paint their poodle/bulldog etc etc x
