Mr Sheen and St David

I recently visited St Non at our smallest city St Davids, Pembrokeshire.
Such a beautiful location, hugely dramatic coastline, howling winds and some amazing architecture too. The chapel of Our Lady, St Non is drenched in Welsh history. A place of rest and tranquility. It resides just around the corner from the immensely impressive cathedral.

I like the diminutive St Nons. It's a much more manageable scale and has a wonderful outlook. There's a lot less dusting to do too!

One of many sketches... St Non, gorse, coastline, sea...
Pencil and ink on paper
