All ready and waiting.

The Northamptonshire Open studios commences at Noon tomorrow. This is a significant date in the diary for me... It always feels like the start of a new term and I just love the chance to meet folk, natter about my work, my practise, art, carrot cake and the price of eggs. The setting up and installation process has been incredibly relaxed... maybe I now know what I'm doing or and quite possibly I'm comfortable with my work, mind, body and spirit and happy showing it orf. My painterly images are evolving and heading in the right direction. The coming months are promising to be exciting and I'm looking forward to the process. There's lots planned and a major solo show for me next year and also in 2014.

However today, The door is open, the walls are full, the gardens looking swell, the cakes are baked and the sun is shining. What more could we ask for.

On your behalf, I will wish for lots of visitors who love your work, that they have space on their walls and pennies in their pockets, and an excuse to buy (or to just be very self-indulgent).
It is a given that they will love to poke around the studio, meet Josh (quite jealous on that one), eat cake (not for me, sorry - coeliac).
Looking forward to reading all about it!

Good Luck.

I'd like you to record the things people say...

That's my favourite bit.
